When people hear that Jamie and I started The Adore Girls together, they usually assume I picked up the camera first. But I didn’t. I picked up the furniture.
Before I ever photographed a single client, I was our set designer. My love for interiors runs deep. I get it from my mama, who was always rearranging furniture and making a space feel brand new just by shifting a few things around. It must be in my blood.
When we launched this business back in 2012, I was living in an old warehouse loft that became our first studio space. That place gave me the freedom to experiment and create different environments whenever I felt inspired. I still do that today — and it’s one of my favorite parts of the job.
Every client who walks through our doors gets a space designed just for them.
